Up for sale is a SEIKO Automatic Diver 6309-7040.
Production date: March 1979.

As far as I know, all original parts.
Original Suwa dial in fair condition. Some text on dial code around 6 o'clock has faded. Lume on index markers still glows faintly. Some minute markers on chapter ring has faded.
Original hands probably have been relumed in the past. Glow faintly.
Bezel rotates bi-directionally and clicks firmly with no play.
Original bezel insert has defect between 15 and 16 minute.
Original crystal has been polished and clean.
Case and case back are in nice condition considering the age. Have some scratches and dents but untouched. Edges and corners are still well-defined. Machining hair lines on case are still visible. Embossed Tsunami logo on case back still have grainy wave background.
Movement and day-date setting mechanism are working well. Movement was serviced on February 2010 and regulated on March 2010. Accuracy is within spec.
Crown locks in 1.75x full turn.
Not water-pressure tested. Water resistant is unknown.
Comes with brand new original SEIKO B22 rubber strap and original SEIKO fat spring bars (used).
