Up for sale is a SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119.
Production date: June 1974.
Case dimension:
- Width: 45 mm (excludes crown).
- Thickness: 13 mm.
- Lug: 19 mm.
As far as I know, all original parts except for the domed hardlex crystal.
Original dial good condition. Lume on index markers has aged nicely into cream color.
Original hands have oxidation between lume and the steel.
Bezel rotates bi-directionally and clicks evenly with no play.
Original bezel insert is in fair condition but the lume under lume pip is gone. Lume pip is still intact. A small touch up of lumibrite will fix this.
I am not 100% sure about the domed hardlex crystal but I think it is non original. Crystal is clean.
Case and case back are in fair condition with some scratches and small dents near lugs. Case is untouched. Original factory finish is still visible.
Movement and date setting mechanism are working well. Service history is unknown.
Original crown locks as it should.
Caseback gasket was replaced with new SEIKO genuine gasket.
Not water-pressure tested. Water resistant is unknown.
Comes with William Jean's excellent reproduction of vintage "waffle" strap, the same type of rubber strap when this watch came out of the factory.
Price: SOLD.
The bad: Non-original domed hardlex crystal, oxidation on hands, missing lume under the lume pip.
