Up for sale is my SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119.
Production date: September 1974.
- Width: 45 mm (excludes crown).
- Thickness: 13 mm.
- Lug: 19 mm.
All original parts except for the reproduction dome crystal.
Original dial and hands in fair condition with small black spots. "SEIKO" inscription on dial has become darker due to age. Lume on dial and hands have turned into creamy color due to age.
Bezel rotates bi-directionally. Bezel rotates and clicks firmly.
Original bezel insert is in fair condition with some scratches.
Dome crystal is not original, but it is a faithful reproduction of the original.
Case and caseback have scratches. Upper part of the case has been lightly brushed. There is a dent around lower part of the crown guard (see picture below). Edges are still firm.
Movement and quick-set date setting mechanism are working well. Movement was completely overhauled by SEIKO service center on March 2012. Accuracy is within original factory specification.
Original crown locks as it should.
All new gaskets except for crown gasket.
Not water-pressure tested.
Comes with William Jean's excellent reproduction of vintage "waffle" strap, the same type of rubber strap when this watch came out of the factory.
The bad: "SEIKO" inscription on dial has become darker due to age. Dent around lower part of the crown guard.
