SOLD: SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119 (April 1976)


Up for sale is my SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119.

Production date: April 1976.
Case dimension:
  • Width: 45 mm (excludes crown).
  • Thickness: 13 mm.
  • Lug: 19 mm.
Description:
All original including the original Dome Hardlex Crystal.
Very good condition with original factory finish (see enclosed pictures).
Bezel rotates bi-directionally. Bezel rotates and clicks firmly.
Case and caseback have small scratches but overall this is a very clean example.
Movement and quick-set date setting mechanism are working well. Movement was completely overhauled by SEIKO service center on October 2011. Accuracy is within original factory specification. Power reserve is 47 hours.
Original crown locks as it should.
All new gaskets (crystal, crown, caseback, and bezel gasket).
Not water-pressure tested.
Comes with William Jean's excellent reproduction of vintage "waffle" strap, the same type of rubber strap when this watch came out of the factory.

SOLD: SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119


Up for sale is my SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119.

Production date: September 1974.
Case dimension:
  • Width: 45 mm (excludes crown).
  • Thickness: 13 mm.
  • Lug: 19 mm.
Description:
All original parts except for the reproduction dome crystal.
Original dial and hands in fair condition with small black spots. "SEIKO" inscription on dial has become darker due to age. Lume on dial and hands have turned into creamy color due to age.
Bezel rotates bi-directionally. Bezel rotates and clicks firmly.
Original bezel insert is in fair condition with some scratches.
Dome crystal is not original, but it is a faithful reproduction of the original.
Case and caseback have scratches. Upper part of the case has been lightly brushed. There is a dent around lower part of the crown guard (see picture below). Edges are still firm.
Movement and quick-set date setting mechanism are working well. Movement was completely overhauled by SEIKO service center on March 2012. Accuracy is within original factory specification.
Original crown locks as it should.
All new gaskets except for crown gasket.
Not water-pressure tested.
Comes with William Jean's excellent reproduction of vintage "waffle" strap, the same type of rubber strap when this watch came out of the factory.

SOLD: SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119


Up for sale is my SEIKO Automatic Diver 6105-8119.

  • Lug: 19 mm.
Description:
All original parts except for the dome hardlex crystal.
Original dial and hands in good condition. Lume on dial and hands still glow faintly and fade quickly.
Bezel rotates bi-directionally. Bezel rotates firmly but clicks very weakly.
Original bezel insert is in fair condition with some scratches.
Dome hardlex crystal is not original, but it is a faithful reproduction of the original.
Case and caseback have scratches but untouched.
Movement and quick-set date setting mechanism are working well. Service history is unknown.
Original crown locks as it should.
All new gaskets. Caseback gasket is red viton rubber.
Not water-pressure tested.
Comes with William Jean's excellent reproduction of vintage "waffle" strap, the same type of rubber strap when this watch came out of the factory.

Description:
All original parts except for the dome hardlex crystal.
Original dial and hands in good condition. Lume on dial and hands still glow faintly.
Bezel rotates bi-directionally and clicks evenly with no play.
Original bezel insert is in good condition.
Dome hardlex crystal is not original, but it is a faithful reproduction of the original.
Case was cleaned and restored by Jack Alexyon of IWW, USA.
Movement and quick-set date setting mechanism are working well. Movement was serviced by SEIKO Service Center, Jakarta on September 2011.
Original crown locks as it should.
All new gaskets. Caseback gasket is red viton rubber.
Water-pressure tested.
